The publication AGES examines the representation of ageing, temporality, and biographical change through photographic and

cinematic portrait series. It focuses on how artistic image strategies render processes of ageing and shifts in identity and personal expression visible. The collected works demonstrate the capacity of photographic and filmic media to document the ongoing transformation of physiognomy and expression. At the same time, they open a broader reflection on life trajectories, biographical ruptures, and the social, historical, and individual factors shaping personality and identity.
