The title Artists and Poets establishes a connection between artists and poets and refers to the relationship between art and poetry as articulated by Ugo Rondinone.

Following the third mind (2007) and the spirit level (2011), the exhibition is the third curatorial project in which he addresses this relation and its underlying premise.

Within the exhibition, this proposition is realized through the mode of presentation. The participating artists are represented by larger groups of works and are arranged in pairs, creating dialogues between them. The selection follows a subjective and unconventional approach, without a fixed geographical or chronological system.
