A voluminous book containing a precise composition of images from other books. The result of a long term investigation, this voluminous encyclopaedia contains solely images collected from other books, and reads as an exhilarating and extremely rich filmic sequence. Suter's interest lies not only in the iconographic value of images and the way that the human brain processes visual information, but also the causes by which images become charged with associative values.

„On Travel“, Rémy Markowitschs neuestes Ausstellungs- und Buchprojekt, dokumentiert die Ergebnisse seiner Expeditionen ins Innere von Reisebüchern und Fotobildbänden.

Aus der Lust am Obskuren und Mehrdeutigen, an Halbwissen und Vermutungen entstehen komplexe Bildwelten, in denen es stets auch um die Aussagekraft von Kunst geht. So beispielsweise schossen der vollkommen unerfahrene Künstler Thomas Baldischwyler mit Farbkugeln auf Glasscheiben, auf denen Zielpunkte markiert sind. Aus den zufälligen Farbverläufen entstanden Hinterglasmalereien, die dann in einer Rauminstallation zu sehen wraen und als Reproduktionen in diesem Künstlerbuch abgebildet sind.

Ein Künstlerbuch, 2016 erschienen im Eigenverlag, Hardcover im Format 28 x 21 cm, mit 120 Seiten und 109 Farbabbildungen.

On Sunday the street is transformed into oasis of foliage and flowers. Everything from bedding plants to 10 foot banana trees are up for grabs. The air is intense with the scent of flowers and the chant of the barrow boys “Everthin' a fiver”. A lot of the flower sellers grow their own plants or import flowers from around the world.
