GLAMOUR ist der zweite Band von whyart, einem dreiteiligen Kunstbuchprojekt von Aude Lehmann und Tan Wälchli (Zürich). Das Projekt verfolgt das Ziel, drei Begriffe, die im gegenwärtigen Kunstdiskurs häufig, jedoch nicht trennscharf verwendet werden, theoretisch präzise zu bestimmen: Aura, Glamour und Mode. Ausgangspunkt ist Alexandre Dumas‘ aberwitziger Roman »Kapitän Pamphile«. Obwohl bereits im Jahr 1839 erstmals veröffentlicht, entpuppt sich das Frühwerk von Dumas gerade heute wieder als treffsicherer Kommentar zum aktuellen Zeitgeschehen. In ihm beschreibt Dumas belustigt in sarkastischem Unterton die wilden rücksichtslosen Abenteuer des Piratenkapitäns Pamphile.

Drawing a Hypothesis is an exciting reader on the ontology of forms of visualisation and on the development of the diagrammatic perspective and its use in contemporary art, science and theory.

I found a cafe named Downey’s in Amersfoort which is run by a family and their son Arjan with Down syndrome. There are several Down syndrome people working in the cafe as well as volunteers who support them. However the Down syndrome people have to pay for their labour to the cafe, which in return supplies them with a form of traineeship.

Im ›System‹ Bibliothek spricht sich der Wunsch der Menschheit nach Wahrheit, Übersicht und Selbstvergewisserung aus, L.A. dagegen gilt als postmoderne Stadt par excellence und repräsentiert damit auch das viel zitierte Ende der ›großen Erzählungen‹. Unterschiedliche Weltentwürfe und Modelle der Wirklichkeit, unterschiedliche Zeiten und Kulturen verweben sich in einem facettenreichen Netz von Referenzen.
