Karimah Ashadu’s film Plateau (2021–2022) presents a profound and layered exploration of artisanal tin mining in Nigeria’s Plateau State.

Five films were created between 2013 and 2019, without official invitations, in the most prestigious exhibition venues in Austria: Vienna Secession, mumok kino, the former Generali Foundation, the Austrian Film Museum, and the Austrian Pavilion in Venice.

A small selection of texts written by the outstanding film critic and translator Frieda Grafe, complemented by the speech that Harun Farocki gave when Grafe and Enno Patalas were given the “01 award” in 2000.
