In 2010, a production process was instigated by filmmaker Beatrice Gibson and typographer Will Holder, with the intention of using British composer Cornelius Cardew’s musical score The Tiger’s Mind as a means of producing speech.

What are you doing? Teksten over videokunst is a publication by Rob Vanderbeeken (researcher Theory 2004 – 2005).

Der Katalog begleitet die Ausstellung der Landesgalerie Linz in Kooperation mit Casino Luxemburg - Forum d’Art Contemporain. In einer Abfolge von Räumen werden Arbeiten aus unterschiedlichen Entstehungskontexten miteinander verschränkt. So entsteht – ohne einen retrospektiven Anspruch – ein spezieller Parcours durch van der Straetens bisheriges Werk.
