Kultur & Gespenster ist eine deutsche Kulturzeitschrift, welche vierteljährlich erscheint. Sie entstand aus der von Gustav Mechlenburg betriebenen Website textem.de. Das Magazin in Buchformat widmet sich Hochkultur und Trash mit derselben Sorgfalt. Geistreich und trotzdem vergnüglich.

Mit Beiträgen von Tilo Schulz, Anne König, Anke Stelling, Olaf Nicolai, Sebastian Lütgert, Jan Wenzel und Soeren Voima.

The art in this issue of Parkett is far-reaching. It reaches out physically and mentally; it occupies new territories and makes startlingly self-evident use of materials (Richard Serra); it leaves a traceable trail and takes permanent shape in abstract-concrete pictorial spaces and expanses of color (Bernard Frize); it moves lightly and in torrents, flooding into and over real, furnished rooms (Katharina Grosse).

Club Donny is a strictly unedited journal on the personal experience of nature in the urban environment, published bi-annually as a tiny-scale English language magazine.

This issue comprises various outlooks on “perspective.” This might be taken to mean something as specific as a particular opinion or as general as an axonometric projection; in short, different ways and means of looking at the world.

This issue will take you from Austria to Manhatten, from Rotterdam to Hong Kong, and back Calabasas, examining new epicenters of energy experimentation.

On Sunday the street is transformed into oasis of foliage and flowers. Everything from bedding plants to 10 foot banana trees are up for grabs. The air is intense with the scent of flowers and the chant of the barrow boys “Everthin' a fiver”. A lot of the flower sellers grow their own plants or import flowers from around the world.

What can we do? To do something is an essential human need and requirement. This publication is dedicated to the inherent versatility in these actions.

Unsere Entscheidung die Kategorie "Geschmack" erneut in das Zentrum der kunstkritischen Debatte zu rücken, ist dem Umstand geschuldet, dass sie zwar einst in Form von Kants "Kritik der Urteilskraft" grundlegend für die Entstehung der philosophischen Ästhetik war, heute aber als "blinder Fleck" der Kunstkritik und künstlerischen Praxis gelten kann.
