Comic Fanzine

Eine Gruppenausstellung ist immer der Versuch verschiedene künstlerische Positionen miteinander zu kombinieren – das heißt, ergänzende bzw. gegenläufige Aspekte herauszuarbeiten. Insofern entspricht der Ausstellungsraum während einer Gruppenausstellung einem Verdichtungskörper für verschiedene künstlerische Sichtweisen.

Das, seit 2010 von Künstler Ezara Spangl und Rainer Spangl kuratierte Kunstvermittlungsprogramm Artist Lecture Series Vienna, gibt Künstler_innen die Möglichkeit vor Kolleg_innen und anderen interessierten Personen über ihre Arbeit zu sprechen sowie die Gelegenheit zur Präsentation einer Originalarbeit. Eine Auswahl an Transkriptionen der abgehaltenen Lectures werden in Form von Publikationen einem breiteren Publikum zugänglich gemacht.

"Curator or the one who takes care of" is an artist publication who brings 80 drawings and an essay from the curator Oscar Holloway.

In an almost pathological way, the project gains intrigue through repetition of the same image, which, being constantly conjugated gets new readings and depths between the artist and the curator.

''Heyt be!'' is a timeless published fanzine equipped with humour and illustration by the three Istanbulish artists Deniz Beser, Sedef Karakas and Baris Sinsi

Deniz Beser was selling his Zine about the political happenings in Turkey in May and June 2013 in the streets of Tübingen. This performance was referred to the spontaneous marketing strategies of the Turkish street vendors during the protests.

As the theme, "Form" the content of the first issue has different subjects in articles, stories, illutrations about form, uniform, form without content, masks, image etc.

The author analyses the repetition, frequency and overlapping of graffitied marks in Athens and identifies in them a system of flexible signage.

Scenic Vanities is a cascading photographic essay, a non-linear journey following paths, marks, rivers and highways, a clash of geographical relevances and imaginary transformations in architecture, based on the author’s observations.

"B.next" is a design research book that looks at the existing urban landscape of Amsterdam as well as as future plans for urban development departing from existing forms.

This book was made as part of my photographic process. The city poses questions that sometimes by the simple capture of images of it are not answered.
