For over two decades, Amelie von Wulffen has been developing a body of work that is formally and stylistically diverse – including collages, installations, animated films, drawings, sculptures, and painting.

Drawing became fashionable in the 18th century when it left the confines of
the artist’s studio to enter a broader field of discourse, culture, politics, and
social life. This transformation was most evident in France, where drawing
was significantly and influentially repositioned and

a large presentation of works by Marcin Maciejowski (born 1974) – a painter and draughtsman, one of the most fascinating and renowned artists of the younger generation...

In addition to texts on the work of Alexander Wolff by Camila McHugh, Nikola Dietrich, Christian Egger, Kerstin Cmelka, Nora Schultz, Ariane Müller, Sabrina Soyer, also an essay by Marcelin Pleynet entitled "Painting and 'Reality’" from 1969 - translated from French into English for the first time.

Pop, Witz und Ironie charakterisieren seine Arbeit, die aus Lebensthemen wie Wetter, Segeln, Natur, Musik und Sprache schöpft. Auch die Themen Schönheit und Erotik durchziehen Attersees gesamtes Œuvre.
Die Ausstellung Feuerstelle zeigt Attersees Werk in all seinen Facetten – mit Fokus auf die ersten zwanzig Schaffensjahre. Während frühe Werkphasen mit grellen Farben und Bildmotiven an die Pop-Art erinnern, eignet sich der Künstler ab Mitte der 1970er-Jahre einen gestisch-expressiveren Zeichenstil an, der später ins Malerische geht. Collagen, Grafiken, Fotografien, Filme, Musik und Gemälde stehen gleichberechtigt neben Erfindungen, Kunsthandwerk und Produktdesign. Neuere Bilder ergänzen Attersees frühe Arbeiten und machen die Stringenz in seinem Œuvre nachvollziehbar.

Diese Publikation ist im Stil von Fanzines aufgebaut, die jeweils ein anderes Thema behandeln.

There seems some mystery as to why these works have not been shown before, but I suppose the simple answer is that it has been purposeful on my part. My pure POP period was very brief in comparison to the span of works until now.
