The images shown in this book were obtained from a small set of photos found in Rome, Italy. The set consists of fifty Polaroids portraying dogs of various breeds and sizes, all taken in the beginning of the 90s.

The piece found a place in this provincial museum in spite of differing from the work that was usually shown there. The invitation to view an unprotected diamond in almost total darkness must have been disconcerting for the public. The enigmatic nature of the piece was captured by Claudio Goulart and this publication showcases the images taken at the time, while inducing readers to become witnesses of an open case.
