“Resonant Bodies, Voices, Memories” evolves around memory, voice and the body – more specifically around instances where our habitual abilities to sense, remember, and speak are somehow disrupted or suspended. Such shifts and ruptures may occur through experiences such as living under an oppressive regime, migration, trying to make oneself understood in a foreign language, or through physical inhibitions like aphasia or stuttering.

The path of the two artists Gábor Bódy (1946-1985) and Zbigniew Rybczyński (*1949, Wroclaw) have never crossed. However, the exhibition presenting the oeuvre of the two, first opened at fall 2011 in the Akademie der Künste, Berlin, and then in the ZKM Media Museum at the beginning of 2012, made it possible for them to meet.

Annika Eriksson (* 1956 in Malmö, Sweden) is a pioneer of the early 1990s artistic tendency to put real situations and social interaction into the center of project-oriented and performative art. Eriksson is known for initiating everyday situations, collective actions, and presentations that are manifest in video or film installations and as photographs in the exhibition space.

Bas Jan Ader Please Don't Leave Me Thirty years after artist Bas Jan Ader failed to return from a solo crossing of the Atlantic, the interest in his work continues to grow.

Dutch artist Gabriel Lester (*1972) incorporates elements of film, drama, music and rhythm in his installations. He began his career as a rapper and worked in the film industry while studying art during the 1990s.

In 2018, the artist Elisa Rose and the musician Gary Danner will have been involved in digital art for 30 years as STATION ROSE/STR. During that time, there was a transformation from a purely analog to a new, irretrievably interwoven digital/analog world.

Its is a yellow vinyl album made up of covers of pop songs about the sun. Aping a 1970s concept album, Cranfield and Slade present twelve songs arranged to represent a day, beginning with songs about sunrise and winding down with songs about sunsets. Tracks range from classics such as George Harrison’s "Here Comes the Sun" and The Kinks’ "Waterloo Sunset," to the lesser-known "Sun" by singer-songwriter Margot Guryan or "Where Evil Grows" by Vancouver’s The Poppy Family.
