Die erste umfassende Publikation der in Berlin lebenden Lena Inken Schaefer (*1982) präsentiert Arbeiten die seit 2007 entstanden sind. Ihre Objekte, Installationen und Aktionen ermöglichen eine Wahrnehmung, die von Geheimnissen und assoziativen Kontexten durchdrungen ist.

Fassbinder hat die Narration des Romans, die Döblin entlang psychoanalytischer Modelle entworfen hatte, noch einmal wesentlich politisiert. Schon Döblin konzipierte seine Hauptfigur als hysterisch und genau auf Hysterisierung zielt insgesamt Fassbinders Produktion. Das gilt bereits für andere Arbeiten aus dem zeitlichen Umfeld von 'Berlin Alexanderplatz' wie 'Der Müll, die Stadt und der Tod' und 'In einem Jahr mit 13 Monden', in denen Fassbinder einen jüdisch-deutschen Drehspiegel errichtete, dessen Achse der Holocaust bildet.

Sirio Luginbühl was an Italian underground film-maker, his film production beginning in 1967. With friends, filmmakers, and artists he experimented with innovative techniques and styles. He was also interested in art and literature and took part in various avant-garde projects in Italy.

Addressing a perceived gap in existing literature on the subject, the series focuses on three broad strands: the issue of temporality, the role of contemporary media and computational technologies, and how artistic practice makes epistemic claims.
