The project "Codex Siciliae", presented as a degree thesis in communication design at the Politecnico di Milano, is a volume that traces back the history of the Sicilian territory and its inhabitants through images.

Inspired by the ancient codex and the rich Sicilian visual heritage Edda Bracchi has collected and catalogued a multitude of ornaments, patterns, icons and pictograms, thus bringing together ancient knowledge and modern technique.
