Collectors

The third exhibition to take place in the Brotkunsthalle is devoted to the neighbouring countries of the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The collectors are the personification of a part of the art world, just as much as they are the general denomination to describe a passion, sometimes on a verge of obsession. (...) The idea of the Czecho-Slovak exhibition of contemporary art in Vienna is unintentional and the national dispersion is not the core content of the exhibition. The simple sequence of monographic cycles uses the principles of series and sequences in the essential media of painting, drawing, sculptural objects, photography and video.(source: book)
