Seit den frühen achtziger Jahren hat Peter Friedl zahlreiche Texte geschrieben. Sein jüngstes Buch Die Heimliche Moderne. Ausgewählte Texte und Interviews 1981–2009, herausgegeben von Anselm Franke, präsentiert erstmals eine umfassende Auswahl, ergänzt durch Interviews und Gespräche unter anderem mit Roger M. Buergel, Stefan Germer und Jean-Pierre Rehm.

Überall auf der Welt suchen Metropolen derzeit Antworten auf die Herausforderungen der globalen Erderwärmung und Perspektiven eines besseren Stadtlebens. Dabei werden mögliche Strategien häufig von Stadtplanern entworfen und nach dem Top-down-Schema umgesetzt.

Environments reflektiert urbane Konditionen im Sinne der Erweiterung der physischen Räume durch die Kommunikationsräume in den elektronischen Datennetzen.

Andreas Urteil (1933-1963) zählt zu den herausragenden Bildhauerpositionen der 1950er- und 1960er-Jahre. Das 21er Haus zeigt erstmals nach 25 Jahren in einem Wiener Museum mehr als 30 Arbeiten des Schülers und Assistenten von Fritz Wotruba – darunter Skulpturen und Zeichnungen.

Dieses Buch ist die erste Veröffentlichung über den Filmregisseur Harun Farocki. Ausgehend von Farockis politischen Engagement während der westdeutschen Studentenbewegung zeichnet dieses Buch die Entwicklung des Regisseurs vom Macher agitatorischer Studentenfilme Ende der 60er Jahr zum Autoren komplexer Essayfilme und Dokumentation in den 80er und 90er Jahren nach.
