Over the past ten years, Austrian artist Eva Schlegel has continued to develop her work with overwhelming abundance and density. For this publication, which is both retrospective and relevant to the immediate present, she has organized her works into four interconnected sections: the Liminals (photography and writing marked by blurring), the Mirror Sculptures, the brand-new series of lithographs entitled Tsunami, and finally a detailed review of works in public spaces, i.e., large-scale works for the Austrian Parliament, the University of Linz, the MuseumsQuartier in Vienna, the Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, and many others.
