FAKTUR 05, edited by Pep Avilés, is part of the journal Faktur: Documents and Architecture.

The issue brings together contributions by Summer Islam (Rebuilding the Bog), Formafantasma (Oltre Terra), Janna Bystrykh and Paul Overby (Seeing the Landscape), Sara Frikech (Watery Constellations), and Francisco Quiñones with Nathan Friedman (Public Works at the Periphery: AMLO and the Urban Improvement Program).

The issue also includes a review section discussing recent publications and exhibitions in architectural discourse, including David Gissen’s The Architecture of Disability, the exhibition Vkhutemas: Laboratory of Modernism, 1920–1930 at The Cooper Union, Patricio del Real’s Constructing Latin America, and Queer Spaces: An Atlas of LGBTQ+ Places and Stories edited by Adam Nathaniel Furman and Joshua Mardell.
