Timo Vaittinen - Flashback Gordon

Flashback Gordon is a conceptual artist’s book by Timo Vaittinen that reconfigures a discarded comic album found on the street into a series of abstract collages.

Using cut-and-paste tactics, science fiction narratives are reorganised into images that drift away from conventional representation. The work is reproduced as Risograph prints on the pages, giving the publication a textured, analogue print quality that situates it within the tradition of artist-run small press and zine culture.
