The focus of Foto/Industria 2021 is the food industry, understood not only as a system of production and consumption, but also as a field connected to biology, history, science, economics, ecology, and social life. The basic human need for food intersects with the need to produce and circulate images.

Through photography, food becomes a way of reading an era and its forms of civilization. The works address tradition, nature, technology, agriculture, logistics, industrial processing, and the changing conditions of global production. They also reflect on urgent contemporary questions such as demographic change, climate crisis, sustainability, and the transformation of food systems.
