The programme focuses on the development of contemporary approaches to art education cultural mediation and curatorial practice.

The projects reflect a wide range of methods and formats through which art can be communicated experienced and discussed. Working across exhibition formats participatory situations research based projects and educational settings the students explore how artistic and design practices can be made accessible to different audiences.

The diploma works documented in this volume demonstrate how mediation can function as a creative and critical practice. They address questions of perception interpretation and participation while examining the role of institutions publics and cultural contexts in the production and reception of art and design.
