II Magazine #0
This first issue of II Magazine explores how publishing can become a performative act.
Bringing together 25 international artists, authors, curators, and researchers, the publication examines the theoretical, poetic, and material connections between editorial practices and performance.
Through essays, interviews, scripts, visual pieces, and hybrid formats, the issue reflects on how print media can function as a stage, a gesture, or a choreography. The contributions consider the magazine not just as a container of content but as an event in itself—an unfolding performance in the form of a printed object.
This issue was curated by the artist duo VEGA (Francesca Pionati and Tommaso Arnaldi) and graphic designer Nicolò Pellarin, with research by Lisa Andreani.
