The Édition Séparée is a series that aims to give female artists the opportunity to make authentic contributions to the tradition of artist books. Without any art-historical explanation or interpretation, the individual issues in this series contain only what the artists wanted to create. Issue 17 of the Édition Séparée is an audio play in book form by the two authors Michel Sauer and Owen Griffith. Interwoven with small drawings, the entire work represents a dialogue between the characters of the camel and the fish.

Michel Sauer is a German sculptor and former university lecturer. He lives and works in Düsseldorf. Owen Griffith is a lecturer at Cambridge University in the Faculty of Philosophy.

The texts in Édition Séparée are either by the artists themselves or by authors selected by them. It is important that these texts accompany and complement the artistic contribution, but do not interfere with interpretation.

This series of artist's books, edited by Reiner Speck and Gerhard Theewen, presents a rapid succession of contributions by contemporary artists, sometimes supplemented by texts, created especially for this series.

Ohne jede kunstwissenschaftliche Erklärung oder Interpretation enthalten die einzelnen Nummern dieser Reihe nur das, was die Künstlerinnen realisieren wollten. Die Nummer 17 der Édition Séparée ist ein Hörspiel in Buchform der beiden Autoren Michel Sauer und Owen Griffith. Versetzt mit kleinen Zeichnungen stellt das gesamte Werk einen Dialog zwischen den Charakteren des Kamels und des Fisches dar.

Michel Sauer ist ein deutscher Bildhauer und ehemaliger Hochschullehrer. Er lebt und arbeitet in Düsseldorf. Owen Griffith ist Dozent an der Cambridge University an der Fakultät für Philosophie.

Textbeiträge in der Édition Séparée stammen entweder von den Künstlerinnen selbst oder von ihnen ausgewählten Autorinnen. Dabei wird Wert darauf gelegt, dass diese Texte den künstlerischen Beitrag begleiten und ergänzen, sich aber nicht interpretierend einmischen.
