Keren Cytter is an artist, filmmaker and writer who experiments with the way stories are told and scripts are performed. I was the good and he was the bad and the ugly is the title of an exhibition that brought together a selection of Cytter´s video works done between 200 and 2006. This book comrises four of those videos by featuring their screenplays. A conversation between Keren Cytter and the artist and writer Avi Pitchon reveals some of the personal and professional ambitions behind Cytter´s remarkably productive practice, and an essay by the acclaimed cultural critic Diedrich Diederichsen addresses its conceptual scope.
