Light & Noise. Objects & Installations focuses on the artistic practice of Alfred Resch, in which light and sound function as sculptural and spatial materials.

His objects and installations are conceived as dynamic systems that activate perception through fluctuation, interference, and rhythm. Light is treated as a physical presence, while noise appears as vibration, signal, or disturbance rather than as musical structure.

Resch’s works unfold in the tension between control and unpredictability. Technical precision meets sensory instability: illumination flickers, sounds pulse or disrupt, and space is experienced as something mutable rather than fixed. The installations do not illustrate concepts but create conditions in which viewers become acutely aware of their own perceptual processes.

The publication frames these works as experimental environments situated between art, technology, and phenomenological experience.
