The volume brings together original prints produced specifically for the book, using techniques such as woodcut and linocut. The publication contains no reproductions; every page is an original work printed from the artists’ matrices.
Materiality and process remain central. Paper, ink, pressure, and seriality shape the structure of the book, while the sequence of pages creates a visual conversation between different artistic positions. Edited by Christoph Ruckhäberle, Lubok 12 presents the book as an exhibition format in its own right and affirms printmaking as a collaborative, experimental practice situated between tradition and contemporary image-making.
