Lubok 4 continues the artist-led Lubok series dedicated to contemporary relief printmaking.

The volume brings together original prints by invited artists, produced using techniques such as woodcut and linocut and conceived specifically for the book format.

As with the other Lubok editions, the book does not document an exhibition but constitutes one. Emphasis is placed on materiality, manual production, and the serial logic of the book as a sequence of images. Lubok 4 foregrounds the print as an autonomous artwork and the publication as a collaborative space, situating traditional printing techniques within a contemporary artistic context.
