The book is a wordless visual document, featuring full-bleed color images that capture the exhibition and each artist's contribution.

A unique aspect of the publication is the separate essay by curators Jessica Morgan and Björn Roth, along with the artists' responses to a questionnaire by Jens Hofmann, printed on newsprint. Each copy is bound with a hand-stamped dust jacket fastened by a rubber band, emphasizing a tactile, one-of-a-kind presentation.

The exhibition brought together over 30 international artists whose works engage with the collapse of boundaries between art, life, and materiality, all through the lens of Dieter Roth's legacy. Notable participants include Jennifer Allora & Guillermo Calzadilla, Micol Assäel, Matthew Barney, Olafur Eliasson, Thomas Hirschhorn, Hekla Dögg Jónsdóttir, Brian Jungen, Anna Lindal, Jonathan Meese, Anri Sala, and Lawrence Weiner.

Published in conjunction with the Reykjavik Arts Festival in 2005, this catalogue reflects the ongoing relevance of Roth’s influence on contemporary art practices.
