Mulheimer Freiheit Proudly Presents The Second Bombing

The Mülheimer Freiheit came together in Cologne, in 1980, on the street which gave the group its Name, they shared a studio where a dynamic interchange took place.

The paintings and installations which subsequently appeared in galleries and museums, displayed a wilfully adsurdist and anarchic stance; making collorabative paintings, graffiti, and murals as well as conventional canvases they have juggled styles and cultural stereotypes with ideas about the act of painting itself.
