The first release on Decemberism records is a document of the temporary bar that the artists Lucy McKenzie and Paulina Olowska ran for one month in Warsaw, 2003, in collaboration with Foundation Gallery Foksal.
In a limited release of 1000, with extravagant pop-up gatefold sleeve, the LP presents the music of: donAteller, Bianca Glazebrook, Mathilde Rosier, Nightshift, Marcin Dutka. All of whom played live in the illegal salon, many performing material specially written for Nova Popularna. An eclectic mix including house, show tunes and prepared piano, the record reflects the amalgam of finesse that was that place.
Vinyl LP with full-color gatefold sleeve and pop-up centerfold. Language: English/Polish
