Otto Zitko - Bunkier Sztuki
Otto Zitko. Bunkier Sztuki is an exhibition catalogue documenting Austrian artist Otto Zitko’s presentation at Bunkier Sztuki – Contemporary Art Gallery Krakow in 2006.
The publication consists of a sequence of full-page colour illustrations that capture the works shown in the exhibition, accompanied by a short theoretical text by Maria Anna Potocka and a brief catalogue section or bibliography.
The catalogue reflects Zitko’s ongoing engagement with line, gesture, and spatial dynamics, which have characterised his practice since the 1980s. The artist often uses continuous linear forms to explore drawing in space as an expanded, performative gesture. The Bunkier Sztuki publication provides visual documentation of these explorations in the context of the Krakow exhibition, capturing the work’s presence and carrier structures within the gallery environment.
As a gallery publication issued on the occasion of the exhibition, it was produced in a limited print run. It is valued by collectors and researchers interested in central European contemporary art and Otto Zitko’s oeuvre.
