The project for large posters of the Grazer Kunstverein, as part of steirischer herbst '92, is dedicated to the theme America nowhere, America Now Here.

The artists Felix Gonzales-Torres, Martin Kippenberger, Matta Wagnest, Chrisopher Wool, Heimo Zobernig, Hans Krüg and Florian Pumhösl, as well as the group Fierce Pussy, were given billboards all over Graz for which they were to design their own special statement on the theme.
The catalog is a three-part publication with a banderole and consists of a folded poster showing the individual contributions to the project, a separately bound text section dealing with the history of the artist poster and Austrian large-scale poster campaigns, and a separately bound illustrated section with a selection of Austrian posters from 1969 to 1992. The exhibition took place from October 3 to November 3, 1992 at the Grazer Kunstverein.
