Ryan Gander - Culturefield
Culturefield documents a body of work by Ryan Gander that examines systems of value, cultural production, and institutional framing.
Conceived in collaboration with designer John Morgan, the publication reflects Gander’s conceptual methodology, in which narrative fragments, fictional constructs, and subtle displacements interrogate how meaning is generated within cultural contexts.
Rather than functioning as a conventional exhibition catalogue, Culturefield operates as an extension of Gander’s practice. The book assembles texts, images, and speculative elements that blur distinctions between documentation and artistic proposition. Language, typography, and layout form part of the conceptual structure, reinforcing the artist’s ongoing interest in mediation, authorship, and the invisible infrastructures of the art world.
