The collaboration between Haegue Yang and the Amsterdam-based designer duo Maureen Mooren and Daniel van der Velden transforms the original material of the work "Illiterate Leftovers" into a book format, titled in "The Pages".
The original material of both projects documents numerous blank sheets of fax, which are the result of a blind communication without demanding any specific message or information between the artist and partly anonymous and partly intimate audience via fax. In this project Yang's interest lies in a search of possible communication mode, yet the visual as the end product demonstrates mechanical but individual traces as a possible proof for
