The Red Line: Conversations with Bart de Baets, Katharina Hinsberg and Karl Nawrot
availability unknown, if interested please write an email
The red line functions here as motif, method, and conceptual connection.
The Red Line documents conversations with Bart de Baets, Katharina Hinsberg, and Karl Nawrot, focusing on recurring lines, threads, structures, and continuities within their work. The interviews approach the line not only as a visual element, but also as a way of thinking, organizing, drawing, designing, and relating different practices to one another.
Across 92 pages, the publication moves between artistic research, graphic form, and dialogue. Its two-colour RISO printing emphasizes the material and structural presence of the line, while the format gives the conversations a clear and concentrated visual framework.
Produced in the context of the Klasse Systemdesign at the HGB Leipzig under the supervision of Maureen Mooren and Jannis Zell, the book reflects a collaborative process of editing, design, and production.
