Toyboy

Soybot is a micro-publishing house based in Vienna that produces and publishes various printed works, mostly created using the Risograph printing process.

The collective functions as a platform for experimenting with this particular printing technique. Due to the nature of the production process, the publications are issued in limited editions and are characterized by a deliberately loose or non-linear relationship between the works.

The name “Soybot” refers to the myth surrounding the composition of the ink and evokes the benevolent character of the machine itself, which is fed with rice paper and soy-based ink.
