Travel Journal is an artist’s book created by Bernhard Cella in 2000 that traces a fictional journey from Vienna to Ukraine.

At its centre is the question of what it means to cross this border and which linguistic, political and personal experiences are connected with such a passage. Texts in German, English and Russian structure the journey. At the same time, the book is conceived as a travel diary that can be used by readers to record their own notes, observations and experiences. The monochrome publication was produced on 80 gsm paper. First produced in 2000 and second edition in 2007.
