Allan Kaprow is considered to be the founding father of the Happening, of Environments and Activities: terms that he continued to redefine throughout his career. With a wide selection of images, this publication documents Kaprow's posters, a lesser-known side of his work, produced between 1953 fand 1996.

Great Bear Pamphlet
Each pamphlet is simply produced with black printing on colored sheets of paper (each pamphlet a different color) except for Cage’s poem DIARY: How to Improve the World (You Will Only Make Matters Worse) Continued Part Three (1967) which uses multicolored, and shifting type-faces to help realize his idea. The overall affect is a beautiful stack of reading.
