TEXTO (the book) is an independent publication that invites 18 authors, mostly visual artists from Barcelona, to work in a text-based format. The project aims to emphasize certain characteristics of art practice related to story-telling or narrative. Each of the 18 participants have made a specific proposal addressing the framework from various points of view. Pure fiction stories, image sequences, literary transcripts of performative actions, comics or incomprehensible languages

The headlines of four of the main Spanish daily newspapers (El Mundo, El País, El Periódico y La Vanguardia) are translated using the on line translation service ‘Google Translate’.
