Through objects, images, and texts, Jason Dodge skillfully combines the fictive and the real, inviting us into a world of interrupted and elusive narratives. In each of his carefully executed installations, a distant locale or notable event is evoked along with characters both real and imagined. Each work seems to suggest a larger enigmatic story, leading ultimately to a narrative of our invention, sparked by Dodge's compelling objects.

Chains were formed between these 154 people through a series of questions started by Oda Projesi. Oda Projesi addressed the accumulated questions to the 154 people and these people whether they knew each other or not talked to each other by the means of the book. The book, consisting of these 'talks' is an imagination of a common narration and an intention of establishing a narration through opening up the possibilities of the printed material space. Is it possible to be neighbours and to live together in these apartments of narrations?

In the dormitory we became roommates and we began to deal with the objects of our everyday life; self-generated objects have been captured in our environment. Most of the images were taken in everyday situations, either together or for each other. Our starting point was private photography what is recording unrepeatable moments with the intent of the simple documentation. Amateur photography is characterized by sincere vagueness, immediacy, and the gesture of capture, so we used these in the photos of the #trashbook series.

Glenridge Quarry Naturalization Site located on the Niagara Escarpment is a landscape still resembles a raw, industrialized version of nature, eerie and ominous in its windswept hills. The ground is punctuated by prickly vegetation providing beautiful flowers in the summer months, and rocks, from pebbles and gravel to larger boulders.

This edition was produced on the occasion of exhibition “Daybreak” at Platform Sarai, Frankfurt am Main. The edition functioned as a complementary printed matter that was generated from the research behind the main exhibit of the show. The exhibition was the first installment of a long-term project that explores the positions and functions of “nature” in modern art.
