In February 2016 I was one of the many young adults, to join an international humanitarian network helping refugees stranded in Greece. I followed and worked with numerous groups, Hot Spots and organisations in the 14 months after my first trip there. Functioning as a photographer with my DSLR for charity and press occasions, I relied on an Instant Camera to capture my personal perspective on what I experienced and the connections I made whilst being there.

A text-collection of 16 text that deal with disguise, written by visual artists like Hannes Schmidt, fashion designers like Henrik Vibskov, journalists like Anne Waak, directors like Jonas Weber Herrera, musicians like Christian Naujoks or catholics like my dad.

A group of Jan van Eyck researchers investigated the public spheres of Brazzaville and Kinshasa, two neighbouring capitals separated by the Congo river. The group subscribed to ‘visualizing the visible’ as a research approach and regarded Brazzaville and Kinshasa as one city: Brakin.

The current urban landscape in the Netherlands is more and more derived from neo-traditional architecture: complete suburbs are built in this style. The houses appear old but gleam with newness.
