The Line was designed for the Children’s Labyrinth, a spiraling, trefoil wall structure at 10th Triennial of Milan, a design and architecture fair that opened in August 1954. The drawing, photographically enlarged and incised into the wall, was one of four Steinberg conceptions used on the labyrinth.

The joint publication of Klaus Born, Valentin Hauri and Oliver Krähenbühl hosts three different ‘generations’ of painters and exposes three unique artistic approaches.

Bite Marks in Paper presents a series of intimate structures which function somewhere between two and three dimensions. Over the course of twelve months Myers used the action of biting paper to create a series of blind embossed paper documents, suggesting fragments of the everyday, as unique records of the impulses that precipitated them. In addition to the release of the publication, there will be a special accompanying text by Byron Coley, and a limited, deluxe edition.

An early progenitor of the artist's book genre, Warja Honegger-Lavater was born in Winterthur, Switzerland in 1913. She worked as an illustrator for the magazine Jeunesse from 1944-1958, and moved to New York shortly thereafter where she began a wonderful series of artist's books.

The book brings together forty-nine photographs from Korine’s private archive in order to reveal a side of the artist’s creative process that remains largely unexamined. Depicting a mysterious young girl moving through a televised landscape of shifting contexts, Pigxote further illustrates Korine’s interest in replacing plot lines and other narrative tropes with intuitively arranged “experiential moments.” They also provide a unique insight into the poetic mind of Nashville’s most compelling prodigal son.

Holly Stevenson (1978) is one of New York City young and upcoming illustrators, her work blend pure simple drawings with highly refined and subtle taste.

This is an open-end art book project that, like a diary, expresses the present state of COSMIC WONDER in printed form. A fold-out poster accompanies each book.

I Wait Here For You Forever as Long as It Takes is Stefan Marx' (Schwalmstadt, 1979) first major book and his third appearance in the Nieves catalogue. The book content is a selection from the personal drawing diaries, on which Stefan worked over the last two years, combining some of the finest paper paintings and drawings with book drawings and written notes. The intimacy of the subject matter portrayed in the book is also reflected in the title, chosen for its moody romantic inner meaning, which sums up Stefan working style “going through life writing and drawing down the lowlights.”

Ari Marcopoulos has work in the current international traveling exhibition Beautiful Losers, and has recently had solo exhibitions at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in California, and at P.S.1 in New York. His photographs are regularly featured in the New York Times Magazine.

In Chronicles Vol.2, artist Kim Gordon (1953 Los Angeles, California) brings together some of her most personal and unique drawings from a collection gathered over a period of years for her daughter Coko, her nieces, Thurston, and friends.

The second book in Marcopoulos' portraits book series takes a look at the musician, guitarist, rapper, producer, and actor Adam Keefe Horovitz (South Orange, NJ, 1966) also known as Ad Rock, one of the members of the pioneering hip-hop group, the Beastie Boys, together with Michael "Mike D" Diamond, Adam "MCA" Yauch and dj Michael "Mix Master Mike" Schwartz.

The photos in Nacht were originally presented as a slide show, the form of presentation preferred by Andreas Züst. The current book represents the photos in the original order as presented by him utilizing. A very special technique of printing, offset together with lithography, characterizes the 80-piece series.

Highschool is the first Nieves publication of Barber’s own photographs from his last few years at high-school in Amherst, Massachusetts, released in conjunction with the tinyvices.com show at colette. Tim Barber's photographs are simply straightforward, and naturally attract the eye of the viewer for their raw and detailed vision.

Jason McLean's diverse practice includes drawing, sculpture, installation, sound performance and mail art. Much of his work contains collaborative elements. He was recently chosen by MacLean's magazine as one of the top ten visual artists to watch for in Canada. As an illustrator he has worked with Adbusters and Bananafish Magazine.

Paper Poems “started as a collection of new work made using paper, and gradually became a poem made using debris from workings of the booklet. There's a visual index/poem towards back pages, and the contents are visible working components. It's also an homage to paper, and a simpler, far less exhausting way of making a portable museum than before.”

In this book of postcards, Peter Piller (Fritzlar, 1968) presents a collection of photographs found on eBay using the search terms Deko + Munition (ammunition + decor).

Distance is the first ever monographic book by Zavialoff to come out after years of collaborations and editorial works with some of the finest magazines around, coinciding with his solo show at Belleville, Reykjavik, this July.
