In this text I examine, through case studies, how art projects can be said to be at the root of the broadcasting evolution which is taking place in museums and biennales. The title ‘Museum TV Station’ seems to me an excellent title to describe the new function of many contemporary art museums.

on the story of Nieding and Hendrikje Wolters, ex-travellers who became notorious in the North of the Netherlands
after publishing a book about their own lives, ranging from criminal convictions to evangelic belief .

I found a cafe named Downey’s in Amersfoort which is run by a family and their son Arjan with Down syndrome. There are several Down syndrome people working in the cafe as well as volunteers who support them. However the Down syndrome people have to pay for their labour to the cafe, which in return supplies them with a form of traineeship.

In this thesis I focus on the question - how to maintain or regain a sustainable and autonomous position as an artist? The research stems from the realm of media art, dealing with interactivity, and is the written result of a research that I have been doing the last two years. It represents my current view on the topic.

Biscotti di Vento is a research project by artist Vittoria Soddu in collaboration with authors Manlio Brigalia, Bianca Pitzorno and Celestino Tabasso. Their contributions to Biscotti di Vento have been inspired by conversations filmed by Soddu in 2010 with Antonella Baralla and Salvatorica Manca around the origins and secrets of a contended biscuit.

This collection was supervised by Paul Elliman and shows the special interests of each participant.

Sonic Playground was designed and published on location during a 3-hour SPEELPLAATS workshop at the Werkplaats Typografie in Arnhem, Netherlands. This thick volume was conceived as a "visual mix-tape" inspired by the band Sonic Youth and features photocopies of interviews with the band members, writings, performance stills, and album covers.
