In Venice will take place FASHION AT IUAV 2017, the event organised by the BA and MA courses in Fashion Design of IUAV University of Venice celebrating the end of the academic year.

BELLEVUE – zur schönen Aussicht –, ein temporäres Haus oberhalb der Linzer Stadtautobahn: da der Blick auf die bewegten Autos, dort die Sicht in den Landschaftspark. Tägliche Veranstaltungen ließen BELLEVUE zu einem kulturellen Zentrum werden.

The book, The Exhibition of a Film, follows an eponymous exhibition that includes the work by forty-six international artists, and begun with a question: What would an exhibition be like if we changed the environment from the gallery, museum, or Kunsthalle, to that of the cinema?

In Farewell-Lectures versammelt Christoph Türcke eine Reihe abschließender Vorlesungen, in denen er zentrale Themen seiner philosophischen Arbeit reflektiert.

Gestoßen sind sie auf Manifestationen vitaler, ursprünglicher Kräfte, die wir alle in der Seele tragen. Eine Kunst, die zwischen Innenwelt und Außenwelt angesiedelt ist, aber oft auch den Bruch des Einklangs beider Welten dokumentiert.

Emblem, Wort und Schrift sind in der Kunst wieder zu aktueller Bedeutung gelangt. "Theater der Embleme" meint die Wiederkehr dieses Kunstparadigmas. Dabei bedient sich die Kunst heute der allegorischen Darstellung, der Personifikation, ebenso wie des exponierten Wortes. Sie rekurriert auf das politische Emblem ebenso wie auf das Warenemblem.

Was hat es mit dem Stöhnen ob des "schnöden Marktinteresses" auf sich, das an vielen Stellen der Kunstszene zu vernehmen ist? Sind die Mechanismen des Marktes solche, dass es letztlich gleich ist, ob man einen Gebrauchtwagen oder einen Picasso verkauft?

In der Überzeugung, dass sich eine Gesellschaft und so auch ihre Kunst erst in der Einstellung zu den Randzonen als Ganze enthüllen, richtet OUTSIDE USA II den Blick auf Kunstäußerungen außerhalb der gängigen Kunstkanäle, des Mainstreams und des Establishments.

Einen „aktuellen Situationsbericht über die Transformation der Kunst im Zeichen von Pop“ will Paolo Bianchi mit der zweibändigen Dokumentation "Art & Pop & Crossover" liefern. Er beobachtet das Einbrechen von Pop und Populärkultur ins Betriebssystem Kunst:
