Co-organized by Hans Ulrich Obrist and Philippe Parreno as a group exhibition that would occupy time rather than space, “Il Tempo del Postino” usurped the durational dimension of theater by presenting time-based art on the stage of the Manchester Opera House (July 12–14, 2007).

The ROM publication documents this program of studies and also forms the basis for future development. It comprises, assembled in one volume, five complementary books, which can also be read individually.

Sweet Sixties is a long-term trans-regional research initiative working between art, research, media, and educational contexts in Europe, the Middle East, western and central Asia, Latin America, and northern Africa. Involving a particular group of experimentally oriented arts and research groups as well as individual artists, researchers, and media, Sweet Sixties investigates hidden histories or underexposed cultural junctions and exchange channels in the revolutionary period of the 1960s.

»Soybot« ist ein Mikroverlagshaus aus Wien, das verschiedene Druckwerke und Publikationen aus dem Printbereich, alle mehr oder weniger in Verwendung des Risografen, produziert und verlegt. Das Kollektiv stellt eine Plattform für die Arbeit mit dieser speziellen Druckart dar. Die Ergebnisse sind gemäß des Produktionsaufwands nur in limitierten Auflagen erhältlich und zeichnen sich durch ihre Zusammenhanglosigkeit aus. Der Mythos zur Zusammensetzung der Tinte wird im Namen »Soybot« reflektiert und charakterisiert das gute Wesen der Maschine, die mit Reispapier und Soyatinte gefüttert wird.

WissenschaftlerInnen sowie KünstlerInnen unterschiedlicher Disziplinen wurden eingeladen, ein „Objekt der Unordnung“ auszuwählen und dazu einen etwa dreiseitigen Text zu verfassen. Die Objektabbildungen und der Text wurden schließlichin einer begleitenden Publikation gesammelt. Studierende der Visuellen Kommunikation haben diesen Katalog konzipiert, gestaltet und produziert. Das Siegerprojekt ist im November 2013 erschienen.

Sonja Kälberer studierte von 2003 bis 2009 an der Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig bei ingo Meller und Peter Piller. In ihren Arbeiten bewegt sie sich zwischen Skulptur (sie baut aus rohen Materialien Räume), Fotografie (die Räume werden für das Bild gebaut) und Malerei (die Fotografien werden in der Dunkelkammer maßgeblich nachbearbeitet).
