Witze soll man nicht zerreden. Sie kommen gut und gerne ohne Autorschaft aus, ohne Kommentar, gehören jedem, der sie weiterträgt und verändert, zuspitzt oder auch abwetzt, schal werden lässt. Farblos? Nun denn, diese sind gezeichnet. Und da ist es schon, das simple Fabrikationsmuster, das uns lachen macht: Zwei Erwartungen, Assoziationen, Bedeutungsfelder werden flugs verknüpft und das Sprach-Bild-Maschinchen fährt munter das Nebengeleis weiter – der Nagel hat einen anderen Kopf getroffen. Ein Kurzschluss, eine ‚falsche‛ Verbindung, in deren vermeintlicher Unsinnigkeit sich manch harter Tobak (etwa an Verhältnissen zwischen den Generationen, Geschlechtern und auch Gattungen – vergessen wir nicht das Auto, den Wasserhahn, die Tiere) verpacken lässt. Konfliktvermeidung? (Immer wieder Freud bemühen?) Frustrationsabfuhr bei gleichzeitig ideeller Bandenbildung im Lachen? (Als Treppenwitz?)
