Jason McLean's diverse practice includes drawing, sculpture, installation, sound performance and mail art. Much of his work contains collaborative elements. He was recently chosen by MacLean's magazine as one of the top ten visual artists to watch for in Canada. As an illustrator he has worked with Adbusters and Bananafish Magazine.

We encounter the world through surfaces: the screen, the page, our skin, the ocean’s swell. Here on the sea is the surfer, positioned at the edge of the collapsing wave.
